Yangshuo

May 10-11, 2006. Yangshuo, China.

Yangshuo
  • Mountainous town in Guong Xi province of China, south of Guilin
  • Known for awesome limestone peaks for climbing
The main street in Yangshuo, West street, is like any major backpacker street (Think Khao San Rd in Thailand or the streets of Hoi An in Vietnam). I wish I had more time there. IT was so chill and peaceful. And Ben (Australian rock climber I met in Hanoi at the Cu Chi Tunnels) totally hooked us up with a sweet place to stay. And Merry, our good looking hobbit Pharaoh/rock climbing guide from NZ, joined us in our silly/immature songs and banter.

Ahh, good times were had. =)
