Water War. aka Songkran

Songkran: Thai New Years.

Method of celebration: Weeklong water fights EVERYWHERE.

As you walk or drive down the streets, you suffer the rafe of little kids, teenagers and adults alike. Standing ground on the side of the streets and armed with buckets of water and loaded water guns, the water army "wishes" you a new year by cleansing you with soup and their endless supply of water. Some of them also load up on the back of pickup trucks. A moving army.
