CU: a climber's paradise
Walking around CU (University of Colorado), you will find white chalk marks on the buildings' exterior walls. That is because students use the irregular sandstones for climbing.
That's right, the buildings at CU are bouldering walls.
You can find a variety of climbs there - crack climbing, cave climbing, etc. etc. Who needs a climbing gym when you are at CU? Even during bad weather, climbing can be had, particularly at the engineering buildings.
There is even a guidebook written on the climbs!
The only question remains - if someone gets hurt, can he/she sue the school? Or does student insurance cover that type of injury?

Official Legal Opinion: If someone gets hurt climbing the school, they can sue the school. The someone will argue it was negligent of the school to make it climbable without more safety precautions. The school will say it was somone's own darn fault and they assumed the risk when they climbed. The people of Colorado will decide.
